Volana

A mysterious, and at times deadly land, Volana is often choked in a thick fog which obscures from vision the large lake from which this territory gained it's name. Lake Volana is the resting place of all the water that bubbles up from the underground springs throughout the land, it is said to play host to strange beasts that can catch the feet of horses playing in the shallows and slowly drag them beneath the surface, never to be seen again. The turf here is like moist velvet, very soft and short, but can be quite hard to come by and is damaged easily by drumming hooves.
