Some Lark It HotA closed Comedy ___________________________________________________________________ The night seemed young as the sun took its last look over the horizon before dipping away, to give the moon a better look over the crashing waves. For a moment, the brute thought he was alone. His pelt twitched as the waves bit at his stilts and droplets of foam strayed to his underside. His audits, always moving, always taking in everything around him picked up a familiar sound. Fear. His stilts carried him forward at a pace much quicker than before, and he found himself looking over the crest of a large dune. There, on the other side, facing away from him, was a fem. His orbs were not yet used to the dark and he couldn't make out many of her features, but with only a glance he could tell she was beautiful. A slight rain picked up, the kind that sends shivers through the soul as it pricks the skin, and he blinked away the stinging liquid. "Ma'am." He greeted, his vocals were that of a careless wanderer, light, but gaining in wisdom. He hoped he hadn't startled her, as she looked to be tense already. He wasn't one for cruelty or rudeness, though he was known to otherwise get himself into a lot of trouble.

Some Lark It HotA closed Comedy ______________________________________________________________ The brutes sight had finally adjusted to the night and he was able to to see that this fem was a little more than terrified. He desired to step over the boundaries of getting acquainted and protect her from whatever brought her such fear, but he didn't know where to begin or what to say, and neither could he will his stilts to carry him forward. He wondered a moment if whatever she was afraid of he should be afraid of as well, but decidedly pushed the thought from his mind and took one step onward, daggers biting into the sand like earth beneath him as the biting rain turned to snow. "Have I frightened you? This I did not mean to do." He spoke as one concerned, his audits flicking about, trying to determine the root of her fear and at the same time searching her seemingly lifeless orbs for any sign on the reason for her fear. It occurred to him that she perhaps was blind. This fascinated him to a degree and he almost came right out and inquired about her plight, but thought better of it. "I am called Dex." He paused for a moment, before taking another cautious step forwards. "Whatever you are afraid of, ma'am, I can assure you I would not allow to harm you, if it is in my power." He was not usually one to offer his services as such, but she seemed rather desperate, and sometimes a kind stranger can be the best medicine.

Dezperina Felt Such A Fool. She Knees Buckled, Threatening To Drop Her. She Blinked Wet Lashes, "Oh, If Only you Could, M'Dear." The Fae Breathed. She Straightened Herself With A Clear of The Throat. Not To Be Looked Down Apon By this Stranger, Dezperina Thrust Her Maw Out Defiantly, Arching her Neck. Her Voice Has Level, But Soft Still, "And M'Name Is Dezperina." Swallowing, She Picked Her Way Onto The Soft Sands Of The Beach. She Shook Her Pelt, The Breeze Trailing its Cold Fingers Down Her Spine. Dezperina Shuddered, Turning To The Stag. She Breathed In His Scent. It Comforted, And Soon The Vision Seemed Nothing But A Dream.

Some Lark It HotA closed Comedy __________________________________________________________________ The brute quite enjoyed the vocals that the fem had uttered, and stepped to her side, no longer wary of her presence. She seemed to be comforted by him, and he felt pleased with himself for being able to bestow this upon her. The snow was now much heavier. "Perhaps we should find shelter, Dezperina?" He inquired, taking a moment to glance into the heavens and finding himself blinking away the white onslaught. He nodded over towards an overhanging tree, while dead with winter, had branches thick enough to provide a bit of protection from the weather. Hoping she would follow, he headed for it. The lake and all that surrounded it was dim, and in this late winter storm, the area seemed more bleak. He began to wonder why a fem such as this one would find herself here, away from all seeming life and light. Though he realized, perhaps being blind, known of those things mattered. Curiosity got the better of him. He turned to her, orbs searching. "May I ask what brought you here?" Though why he was here he didn't really even know himself. Perhaps it was a sort of fate, perhaps not.

Some Lark it HotA closed comedy _______________________________________________________ The brute stepped to the side, only to give her a place to stand next to him under the dead tree. Her vocals confused him a little, but she seemed pleased with herself and everything she said, and this further confused him. He decided to let it slide and merely took note of her seeming avoidance of his earlier question. "A song, for me?" He inquired instead, realizing that perhaps this fem needed a more gentle approach than the average. It was almost sad, seeing her this way. He already felt himself gaining an affinity towards her, and almost had the urge to nuzzle her nape as she stood, giggling to herself. He had a bit of a feeling she hadn't been touched in awhile, He tossed his dial slightly, allowing a little bit of a glow to form in his orbs as he let himself becoming instantly and strangely attached to her.

Dezperina Shimmied Into The Rain, "If Not For You, Say, For Who?" She Rolled back her Head, Raising her Maw To The Heavens. "Empty...So Empty." The Fae Sighed, Allowing Her long Lashes To Rest Apon Her high Cheekbones. The Whispering Wind Played With her mane, Blowing it Wind. "Oi!" Dezperina Shimmied Under The Shelter Of The Tree's Conopy Once Again. "Oi! Have you 'Erd The Tale Of Two Souls, Luvver?" She Querried, Cocking her Delicate Head To Him. "Ah, It's My Favorite Story. My Mum Told it To Be But When I Was A Spirited Filly. Forbidden Luv, She Said, Forbidden Luv..."

Some Lark In HotA closed comedy _______________________________________________________________ "Do tell it, fair maiden." He asked of her, finally giving in to his senses and nuzzling her dial a moment, trying to figure out why he suddenly never wanted to part from her. Everything she said was making less and less sense, but that intrigued him all the more. His ego got the best of him and he assumed that perhaps he could crack the code of the fem who could not see him. He shivered a little in the chilled air and tried to ignore the feeling that they should leave the dark land, and continued to watch her, as if in a trance.
